IAM - Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique®
The IAM Technique is a powerful way to reconnect with our real center, our Inner Self, and thereby experience true joy and peace in life. It was originated by Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma), a renowned Spiritual and Humanitarian leader who received the United Nations 2001 Gandhi-King Award for Nonviolence. 'Amma is known by many as the 'Hugging Saint'.
The IAM Technique, when practiced with dedication, is designed to bring about integration in our lives - an integration of body, mind, intellect and heart. Practicing IAM opens up channels of creativity and self-expression, helps one to lead a more balanced life, and gives one a more positive outlook. Amma has said that this meditation acts on a very subtle level--eradicating all our negative tendencies, slowly but surely, and gives obvious practical results very fast.
