Parenting FAQ

When should I come back after my baby is born/how old should my baby be?

When you feel ready to come back is the right time for you. Some mothers return at three weeks and continue coming to classes with their toddler (depending on the activity level of hte child).

What if my baby cries or needs to be fed during class?

All of our postnatal classes are loosely structured so that you can tend to your baby as needed. If you need to soothe, or feed your baby during the class you may do so right from your mat. However, we do have a small room off of the yoga room for those who desire privacy. The teacher can also help by hold your baby during class.

Special circumstances?

Please come early to class and discuss any needs or restrictions with your teacher. She will be happy to help you modify any movements that may not be right for you.

How long are my classes good for?

We understand that the life of a new mom can be unpredictable, so we give you six months to use your classes from the purchase date. That said, please be aware of your expiration date and use your classes up before then.

I am a beginner at yoga, are your classes right for me?

Our classes are perfect for all levels of students. The teacher will guide you step by step in the poses in a way that will help you to experience their benefits while also allowing you the freedom to stop or rest if you need to.
