Jennifer Cea, LMP, is thrilled to join the community at Seattle Holistic Center as a massage therapist
and infant massage instructor. When she took prenatal yoga and later infant massage classes with her newborn daughter at SHC, she discovered the nurturing and supportive place SHC creates for expectant mothers and families. Jennifer welcomes all to her client-centered practice, to address muscle tension and discomfort, or to simply bask in the healing comfort of a relaxation massage. She has a passion for sharing massage with expectant mothers, and in addition, to her education at Brenneke School of Massage, she is certified in Carole Osborne Sheets’ Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy. Jennifer believes deeply in the importance of the transformative experience of pregnancy, labor and birth, wherein daughters become mothers as they bring forth a new life from within. Through her work as a massage therapist and a labor doula, Jennifer helps women feel good in their changing bodies, offers continual emotional support and comfort measures during their labors and encourages women to advocate for the birth experience they desire.

Sarah Chamberlain, is passionate about yoga and its ability to promote wellness and balance in a person's life. She has translated her love of the ancient practice into a life's purpose by becoming an instructor. She received her certification through the "It's Yoga" teacher training program in San Francisco California. Sarah teaches Vinyasa or "flow" style classes where postures are linked together with breath. Her classes help to calm and support the central nervous system to create quiet, balance, and strength in the body, the mind and the spirit.

Renee Davis, first discovered yoga when pregnant with her first child in 1997. Since then she deepened her practice and study, taking classes and trainings with senior teachers throughout the United States in various yoga styles, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Anasara. She received her yoga certification through Shari Friedrichsen, prenatal and postnatal certification through Colette Crawford, and began teaching yoga in 2002. She studied Iyengar yoga as part of a teacher-training program for over three years, but has since developed her own eclectic mix of yoga asana, not being tied to one particular style or system. Her classes are fun and challenging, with an emphasis on core strength and breath awareness, and encouraging each student to take their yoga beyond the classroom and into their daily lives. She has a special love for teaching postnatal yoga, especially as she observes her own children growing faster than the speed of light, reminding us all how quickly life zooms by, and the importance of being present and in the moment.
Shari Friedrichsen has been teaching yoga
nationally and internationally for over 25 years. She has
taken the precision and alignment of the Iyengar tradition
to a deeper level as she studied the emotions, thoughts
and chakras of the body. Through her own yoga and meditation
practice, her travels through India, and her heartfelt commitment
to life, she has developed a style that supports the sacredness
and the understanding of the union of the body, mind, heart
and soul.
